Michael Piper is in his second year as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. His primary sport responsibilities include the football, baseball, softball and volleyball teams.
Piper holds a Master of Science degree in physical education and exercise science which he earned from CCSU in 2012. Prior to his education at Central, Piper earned his bachelor's degree in exercise sport science from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in May 2010.
Prior to working at CCSU, Piper coached at Arizona State University (Spring 2010), University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (Fall 2009) and North Dakota State University (Summer 2009).
Piper, a former collegiate baseball player, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) and a United States Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach (USAW-1). He currently resides in West Hartford, CT.
