Head football coach, 1964-81.  Compiled 94-72-3 record in 18 seasons.  New England college coach of the year, 1973.  Led 1973 Blue Devil team to 9-1 record and first place finish in UPI's New England college division II poll, 4th place in Lambert cup poll.  Won eastern football conference championship in 1973-74.  Built football program to position of national prominence.
