CCSU Announces New Online Ticket Sales

The Central Connecticut Athletics Department has announced a partnership with ExtremeTix to offer ticket sales to football and men’s and women’s basketball online, beginning with the 2012 football season.  Fans can now purchase tickets 24-hours a day by logging onto CCSUBlueDevils.com or CCSUTickets.com.

“With our additional seats for football and the continued interest in our basketball programs this was the next logical step,” Director of Athletics Paul Schlickmann said.  “We have taken tremendous strides in the last couple of years and this is a necessary move to continue our growth.  Fans can now log on anytime and buy tickets to our events.  We’re happy that we could get this up and running four weeks prior to our first football home games.”

Fans can purchase season or individual game tickets simply by logging onto the website.  They can purchase and print those tickets right from home, avoiding the long lines that have happened in the past on the day of the game.  Simple bring your ticket to the game and have it scanned at the gate prior to entry.

“This is a great bonus for our fans,” Schlickmann said.  “It’s all part of enhancing the game day experience.  Avoiding the long lines and getting into the game on time is critical to that experience.  In the end we hope being able to buy and print your tickets ahead of time makes your day more enjoyable.”

Those who have already renewed their football season tickets will be emailed those tickets this week, there is no need to go online and do anything further at this time.  If you have not purchased season tickets you can go ahead and do that online.

Basketball season ticket holders will be sent an email explaining the renewal process in mid-September.
