2007-08: Started 18 of 29 games played as a freshman averaging 15.8 minutes played per game. Averaged 3.8 points and 3.4 rebounds. Started 13 of 17 conference games played and averaged 3.2 points and 3.8 boards. Scored a career-high 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting in loss at Vermont on December 30. Started 15 of his final 17 games played. Grabbed four or more rebounds 12 times on the year including a career-high nine twice, both against Wagner. Finished the year fourth on the team with 41 offensive rebounds.
Before CCSU: Played three seasons at Imhotep Charter School in Philadephia. Averaged nine points and was his team’s leading rebounder in his final season. Named First Team All-Public as a senior. Also named Defensive Player of the Year. Daily News Honorable Mention All-City selection. Team finished a combined 44-15 record in his final two seasons at Imhotep. Named his school’s valedictorian and had the highest grade point average among all male students at Imhotep.
