Men's Basketball Travels to Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday
Central Connecticut continues its three-game Northeast Conference road swing when it travels to Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The Blue Devils are in search of their first conference win of the year, while the Knights are coming off a win at Saint Francis U.

Central Connecticut trailed throughout in a 73-61 setback at Sacred Heart. Junior Jamir Coleman posted his second 20-point game of the year with a team-high 20 points. CCSU would get within six points in the second half, but were unable to mount a rally. 
 
FDU won 79-61 at SFU on Saturday. Darnell edge had 17 points as the Knights shot 57.9 percent from the field in the game.

SERIES HISTORY • FDU leads the all-time series, 25-18, but CCSU won the last meeting on Jan. 18, 2018, with a 66-65 win at Detrick Gymnasium. The Knights had won the previous six meetings. 
 
FOR OPENERS • Central Connecticut travels to Fairleigh Dickinson for the 2nd of 3 straight NEC road games. This road stretch is the 3rd time CCSU will play 3+ straight road games - they will play 4 straight on the road Feb. 7-16. The Blue Devils will be looking to end a season-high three-game losing streak and avoid going 0-3 in NEC play. CCSU opened 0-3 in NEC play in four straight season (2013-17).
 
WITH A CCSU WIN TODAY • Central Connecticut would improve to 7-9 on the season, 1-2 in the NEC, 3-7 on the road...The Blue Devils would snap a season-high 3-game losing streak...CCSU would win its second straight against Fairleigh Dickinson and get its first win at the Rothman Center since Feb. 2, 2013...Central would have back-to-back wins in the series for the first time since Jan. 28, 2012 and Feb. 2, 2013..
