Central 13th at Barona After Round One
The Central Connecticut men's golf team finished round one of the Barona Collegiate Cup in a 13th place tie. Day one of the tournament saw 18 holes of golf played. Central shot a round one 364, +4 to par. Day one was scheduled for two rounds of the three round tournament but round two will be finished Friday March 23rd.
Senior Kevin Josephson and junior Ashley Crawford each shot a 69 in the tournament's opening round. Both golfers remained tied for 16th on the individual leader board after the first 18 played on Thursday.
Freshman Monte Mullen finished tied for 34th posting a 71. Junior Dan Fanion shot a 77 and junior William Finnerty shot a 78. Sophomore Daniel Morgan penciled in an 80.
The conclusion of the second round will be held on Friday March 23rd along with the third and final round.
