The Central Connecticut men's soccer team dropped to 1-2 overall
on the season with a 1-0 loss on Saturday night at the University
of Hartford. The only goal of the match came on an own goal early
in the first half. Central returns to action at Yale on Wednesday

Devil keeper Anthony
Occhialini. The Blue Devil keeper lost control of the ball
when trying to put it back into play and it slipped behind him into
the net.
Neither team threatened much offensively for the remainder of the
match, combining for only three total shots on goal in the match.
Hartford recorded the shutout with just one save, while Occhialini
made two saves in net for the Blue Devils.
Each team had six shots in the match, with Hartford having five of
those in the first half and the Blue Devils having five in the
second. Central had the only corner kick of the match.
The Blue Devils, now 1-2, will return to action on Wednesday night
at Yale beginning at 7 p.m.
