Men's Soccer Honored by NSCAA

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team has earned a spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Academic team.  The Blue Devils receive the award for the 2011-12 season.

Central received recognition for their performance in the classroom displaying a 3.06 team GPA.  The honor is given to teams who post a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.  717 college soccer teams, including 220 men's teams and 497 women's teams, were mentioned on the NSCAA academic list.

The Blue Devils were one of 148 teams to have both their men's and women's soccer teams recognized on the All-Academic list.

Head Coach Shaun Green led the Blue Devils to a 8-8-2 overall record and a 6-3-1 Northeast Conference mark in 2012.  This was his 27th season as the Central Connecticut head men's soccer coach.
