Two Blue Devils, sophomore Ben Knight and junior Stephen Walmsley of the men's soccer team, led the Ocala Stampede to the Southeast Division Title this summer as part of the Premier Devlopment League (PDL).
Both Knight and Walmsley started over ten matches for the Stampede as the team finished among the top three highest scoring teams in the country.
The 2013 season was the second in a row that the Stampede clinched the Southeast Division title. They posted a record of 11-3-0 heading into the semifinal round of the Southern Conference Championships where they were defeated by the Laredo Heat in Austin, TX by a score of 2-0, completing their season as one of the top 16 teams in the nation.
