The Central Connecticut State University men's track and field team finished competition at the Yale Giegengack Invitational on Saturday. Sophomore Nick Trifone led the Blue Devils in the second day of action with a sixth place finish in the high jump, recording a mark of 6 feet, 4.25 inches.
Three Blue Devils finished in the top 30 in the 800 meters. Harrison Katz led the way with a time of 1:57.23 and placed 23rd. Jeremy Schmid and Michael Waterbury took 26th and 29th, finishing in 1:57.75 and 1:58.33, respectively. Chris Rosenberg was the only other top 30 finisher for CCSU on Saturday. He placed 27th in a time of 2:38.74.
