The Blue Devil standouts were selected as qualifiers for the regional meet last Thursday afternoon by the NCAA.

Alston ranks 77th nationally and 40th in the region heading into Kentucky.

Trainor will wait until 9:00 p.m. Friday night to compete in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a 31st ranking in the east with a time of 8:58.04. The Port Jervis, NY native currently holds the 73rd fastest time on the national leaderboard.
