The Central Connecticut men's cross country team was tabbed 13th in the Northeast Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday. The Blue Devils represent the Northeast Conference as the only NEC team to earn a spot on the regional rankings list.

Syracuse ranks first on the list, followed by Iona and Columbia. Dartmouth ranks fourth, Providence fifth, and Harvard, Cornell, Yale, Boston University and Northeastern round out the top 10. The Blue Devils are slated behind UMass (11th) and Stony Brook (12th) and followed by Brown (14th) and Maine (15th).

CCSU is set to kick off the 2013 season on Saturday, August 31 at Fairfield University.
