The Central Connecticut softball team has announced a change in start time for Saturday's doubleheader against Fairleigh Dickinson. The game was scheduled to be played at 1 p.m., but because of the winter weather the first pitch has been pushed back to 2 p.m. The change will allow the field extra time to dry.
The Central Connecticut softball team is 12-9-1 on the season and is currently riding a six game winning streak. On Wednesday the Blue Devils scored the second most runs in a single inning of NCAA Division I softball. The Blue Devils join UTEP, Southern Miss, Jacksonville and Arizona as the five teams that have scored 17 runs in an inning.
