"Laura did a tremendous job today of limiting a good team to just one run over 13 innings. Am very happy that Laura set that record today, but obviously getting two victories today is the most important thing as we head down the stretch," head coach Jeff Franquet said after the game.
The Blue Devils return to action tomorrow when they host Wagner in a doubleheader. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 12 p.m.
