Blue Devils Edge New Hampshire, 64-58

The Central Connecticut women's basketball team edged the University of New Hampshire Wildcats, 64-58, in a back-and-forth second half at Lundholm Gymnasium.  The Blue Devils improve to 4-2 with the victory over the Wildcats (3-2).

The Blue Devils were led by 20 points from junior Kayla Miller, 12 from senior Amanda Harrington and nine from freshman Camden Musgrave, who scored a team-high eight points in the second half.

CCSU led for the final 14 minutes of the first half and held the advantage until the 11:19 mark of the second period.  From that point the Blue Devils and Wildcats would tie or trade the lead six times over the next two minutes.

CCSU recaptured the lead for good with 9:46 left to play on a pair of free throws by Musgrave.  Harrington followed with a layup on CCSU's next possession.  CCSU would use three-point shooting to pull away and build a 12 point lead with 5:31 to play.

New Hampshire would eventually chip the lead away to four, but the Blue Devils would hang on for the victory.
