Women's Basketball Hosts Stony Brook at Home on Sunday

The Central Connecticut women's basketball team hosts the Stony Brook Seawolves in its first home game since November 18, against the Vermont Catamounts. The Blue Devils are set to tip off at 2:00 p.m. inside Detrick Gymnasium in New Britain, CT. This match marks CCSU's third home game of the season, holding a 1-1 record. The last time Central played on its homecourt they defeated Vermont, 78-76, in a thrilling overtime victory.

Previously For Both Teams • The Blue Devils are heading into Sunday's showdown against StonyBrook, coming off a, 47-81, loss at ACC opponent Virginia Tech. The Seawolves are on a two-gamelosing streak, last falling to Northeast Conference member LIU Brooklyn, 48-58, last Sunday.

SB forward, Elizabeth Manner,is notching a team-best 7.0 rebounds per contest, as well as chipping in 8.9 ppg. ChristaScognamiglio is coming off of a season-high 16 pt. effort against LIU last Sunday, and isthird on the team in ppg. netting an average of 7.6.
