Following a week off, the Central Connecticut women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Sunday, Dec. 17 to take on the Stony Brook Seawolves at 2:00 p.m. inside Island Federal Credit Union Arena.

Last Timeout • Despite a season-high 22 points from junior Kiana Patterson, a cold second quarter haunted the Blue Devils in the end against Yale last Saturday. The Bulldogs out-scored CCSU 28-6 en route to topping Central 75 62. Trailing 41-18 at the half, the Blue Devils surged back to out-score Yale 44-34, but was unable to cut the lead past 10 in the final quarter.
The Seawolves • Led by Shania Johnson in scoring with 13.3 points per game, Stony Brook is shooting 41.1 percent as a unit from the field. The Seawolves are out-rebounding their opponents by at 5.7 margin. Cheyenna Clark leads SBU on the glass with 9.9 boards per contest.
MJ For Three • All of graduate student Morgan Johnson's 11 field goals in the past three games have come from behind the arc. MJ is 11-for-16 from downtown, shooting 62.5 percent including four trifecta's in CCSU's last two games.
Series History • Sunday marks the fourth ever meeting between CCSU and the Seawolves. Stony Brook holds a 2-1 advantage in the series history. The Blue Devils fell to SBU last season on their home court, 64-59. Patterson dished out a career high six assists and added 13 points in last year's game.
