The Central Connecticut women's basketball team faces its third non-conference opponent on Tuesday Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. The team travels to New Jersey to play Rutgers University in the Rutgers Athletic Center.

Last Time Out • The Blue Devils most recently dropped its home opener against Lehigh 88-62 on Saturday Nov. 10. Andi Lydon was the leading scorer for CCSU with 16 points and 6 rebounds going 8-8 from the foul line. Rutgers defeated Stony Brook 61-47 with Charise Wilson scoring 14 points and dishing 6 assists.
Scarlet Knights Showing • Charise Wilson led the Scarlet Knights with 14 points, a game-high six rebounds and six assists in Rugters victory over Stony Brook. She is averaging 9.5 points a game shooting 50 percent from the floor over the past two games. Head Coach C. Vivian Stringer currently has 999 career wins.
Series History • Rutgers holds a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series record with the Blue Devils. The last time Central met up with the Scarlet Knights was back in the 2010-11 season with the Rutgers prevailing 73-32.
By the Numbers • Senior Kiana Patterson is producing a team best 18.0 points per game shooting 36.8 percent from the field. Patterson currently has 996 career points, just four short of 1,000. Andi Lydon is second on the team in scoring with 9.5 points per game and is pulling down 7.0 rebounds per game.
