Women's Basketball Back on the Road Against Albany

The Central Connecticut women's basketball team travels to Albany, NY to take on the University of Albany Great Danes on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. inside the SEFCU Arena. Albany is currently 1-7 overall and coming off a 67-66 double-overtime loss to Lafayette.

Today • Central Connecticut is back on the road against the Great Danes of the University of Albany in the SEFCU Arena in Albany, NY on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
 
Last Time Out • In the second home game of the season, Central fell to Buffalo 82-69. Emma McCamus scored a career-high 17 points and Kiana Patterson led the team with 22 points and six assists. The team recorded a season-high 20 assists shooting 41.5 percent from the floor. Buffalo capitalized off 16 offensive rebounds leading to 16 second chance points and scored 24 points in transition. 
 
Most Recent for the Great Danes • Albany recently lost to Lafayette 67-66 in a double over time thriller on Dec. 1. Kyara Frames posted back-to-back 20 point games dropping 23 against the Leopards. The Great Danes set a new season high in three pointers made with 10. Kyara Frames leads Albany with 10.0 ppg and 4.1 rebounds per game so far this season. 
 
Series History • Today marks just the second meeting between the Great Danes and Blue Devils. Albany holds a 1-0 advantage in the all-times series after defeating Central 72-60 last season.
