Central Connecticut junior Lucie Sarochova tied for sixth at the Dartmouth Women's Invitational. Sarochova matched her opening round 77 in final round play at Hanover Country Club. Her pair of 77s were six shots off the pace set by Siena sophomore Katelynn Mannix and Harvard freshman Christine Cho. Mannix won medalist honors in a playoff. The Blue Devils finished 15th in the team standings. They posted rounds of 348 and 340. Harvard won the team title after shooting 314-302.
Senior Deborah Kim tied for 32nd as CCSU's number two player. Kim shaved one stroke off her opening round 82 today, finishing at 163. Junior Natalie Jones (90-182), sophomore Chelsea Woods (92-189) and senior Kerri Tracy (97-205) also improved in final round action for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils will be back in action next weekend. They will tee it up at The Orchards Golf Club in Hadley, MA for the Mount Holyoke Invitational beginning on Saturday, Sept. 20.
