The Central Connecticut women's golf team finished fourth at the Dartmouth Invitational in Hanover, New Hampshire. The Blue Devils were led by junior Stephanie Bednar who finished in sixth place out of 60 individual golfers from 12 schools. The Blue Devils finished with a team score of 656 strokes.
Bednar followed up her first round 77 with an 80 in today's final round. She finished with 157 strokes for the tournament.
Behind Bednar, were junior Katie Reid and freshman Albrianna Farnum who finished tied for 17th. Both posted stroke totals of 164 for the weekend. Reid shot a first round 81 and a second round 83. Farnum posted the inverse carding an 83 and an 81.
Dartmouht won there tournament with a team score of 629. Sarah Sideranko of the University of Hartford took the individual honors with a 149 stroke performance.
Siena College and Hartford finished second and third ahead of the Blue Devils. Hofstra, Dartmouth's White and Boston University rounded out the top-seven for the team event.
The Blue Devils will return to action in two weeks at the ECAC Championships at Egg Harbor, NJ.
