Central heads into the conference championship off of a convincing win at the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational.  The Blue Devils claimed the tournament victory with a 927 team score, an impressive 25 stroke victory over the event's runner-up Robert Morris.

Senior Katie Reid was the tournament's individual champion, shooting a three round score of 228, after beating teammate Albrianna Farnum in a sudden death playoff.  Reid defeated Farnum on the second playoff hole to claim the first individual win of her career.

Reid is one of three seniors entering their final NEC Tournament, along with Stephanie Bednar and Anna Ausanio.  Ausanio leads her team with an impressive five top-ten finishes this 2012-13 season.  She also leads the team in scoring average with a 78.2, the only Blue Devil averaging a score below 80.  Ausanio's best finish of the season came at Valparaiso Spring Invitational where she was the event's runner-up.

Reid put together two top-ten finishes in her senior season, including the team's only individual winner at Mount St. Mary's.  Reid also averaged a score of 82.7 over 13 rounds.  Bednar missed the team's first three tournaments of the spring, sidelined with an injury.  The senior averaged a score of 83.7 over 11 rounds in 2012-13.

As a team, Central comes into this year's NEC Tournament looking to improve on their seventh place finish last season.  They are averaging a score of 309.8 over 17 rounds this season.

As a freshman, Sarah Boden has seen action in every tournament this season, playing in all 17 rounds for the Blue Devils.  The freshman placed in the top-ten once and averaged a score of 83.1 this year.  Farnum has also seen the majority of tournament play for Central playing in 16 rounds and registering two to-ten finishes.

This year's NEC Tournament will be played at LPGA International - Legends Course in Daytona Beach, FL.
