Women's Golf Finishes 13th at Seton Hall
The Central Connecticut women's golf team moved up one spot on day two of the Seton Hall PIrate Invitational on Sunday, shooting a day two team score of 336. The Blue Devils took 18 strokes of their day one total and finished with a two day score of 690. The tournament is being held at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ.
Junior Albrianna Farnum was the top finisher for the tournament for the Blue Devils, finishing in a tie for 29th place overall. She shot a day two score of 82 and finished at 165 for her two rounds.
Freshman Kaitlyn Stoddart was five strokes better on day two and also shot an 82 to finish at 169, good for 43rd place. Classmate Ella Williams, who had to withdraw on Saturday, shot an 82 on the second day of action on Sunday.
Sophomore Sarah Boden shot 90 on the second day and tied for 64th place. Senior Nicole Pizzoferrato improved five strokes and shot 92 on the second day.
Columbia won the team title, followed by Yale, Princeton, St. John's and Seton Hall. The Blue Devils moved past Siena College on the second day and finished in 13th place.
