The Central Connecticut State University lacrosse team held a free clinic for young lacrosse players on Sunday, March 28. Coaches Rachel Tringali and Erin Cayea, along with all of the Blue Devil players helped guide 50 aspiring third-fifth graders through the use of stations and small games on Arute Field.
"It is always great to get out there and help out the young kids," Tringali said. "and to help them at a sport that we all love so much makes it that much better." The CCSU lacrosse team will reach out yet again on Thursday with a Youth Day Celebration during the Blue Devils' home game against Wagner. The Central Connecticut players will all be on hand to sign autographs for the children in attendance for the 4:00 p.m. tilt.
