Senior Day 2013
The Blue Devil lacrosse program is saying goodbye to the 2013 Senior Class, a group that has helped the program reach new heights over the last four seasons. The CCSU lacrosse team has set or tied the school record for wins in every year that this class has been with the program. This year the team has set records for wins (9), NEC wins (7) and longest winning streak (8 games). The senior class has been a part of 28 victories over the last four seasons (2010-13), in the four seasons prior (2006-09) the program won just eight games.
2013 NEC Tournament
CCSU will be making the first NEC Tournament appearance in program history next week. The tournament will be hosted by the winner of today's game, either CCSU or Monmouth. Mount St. Mary's has also clinched a spot and Bryant, Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart are all looking to grab the final playoff spot. Mount plays at Bryant on Sunday, while Quinnipiac hosts Saint Francis U and Sacred Heart hosts Robert Morris.
