Player of the Year Leah Blayney leads the Women's Premier Soccer
League in scoring this summer. Playing as a member of the Boston
Aztec, Blayney has a league-best 10 goals to go along with three
assists in seven games. Her 23 points are a league-high.

The Boston Aztecs are the reserve team for Women's Professional
Soccer's (WPS) Boston Breakers. The roster is comprised of women
from around the country who are working to make the Breakers
roster. The Breakers loan players to the Aztec as needed to gain
playing time and experience.
Blayney led the Blue Devils and the NEC in scoring this past season
with 11 goals and 13 assists, good for 35 points. It was the
third-highest single season point total in school history, and her
13 assists were the second-most in a single season at Central.
For her career Blayney played in 61 games and posted 21 goals and
20 assists in three seasons. Her 62 points are fourth all-time in
school history, while her 21 goals places fifth and her 20 assists
are good for third. She scored 11 game-winning goals in her three
seasons.
