Devils qualified for their ninth straight NEC Tournament on Sunday
with a 0-0 double overtime draw against Sacred Heart. Central will
face Long Island on Friday in the semifinals of the NEC
Deiter posted a pair of shutouts last week in a 2-0 victory with Fairleigh Dickinson and a scoreless draw with Sacred Heart to help the Blue Devils clinch a berth in the Northeast Conference Tournament for the ninth straight season. Deiter improved her overall record on the season to 8-8-1 with a 1-0-1 week.
She played 200 minutes last week making four saves without allowing a single goal for the Blue Devils. She now has six shutouts on the season. Deiter made four saves in a 0-0 double overtime draw during Sunday's critical dual with Sacred Heart. The game helped clinch a playoff spot for the Blue Devils.
