D'Arcy Adds Six for Fall 2014

Head Coach Mick D'Arcy of the Central Connecticut women's soccer team has added six Blue Devils to his 2014 roster. The newcomers will join the Blue Devil squad that earned an NEC Tournament berth last season, posting an overall conference record of 5-3 and finishing the regular season tied for second in the NEC.

CCSU will welcome Nicole Forte, Kacie O'Neill, Alex Zampini, Brianna Scaldaferri, Cori Scales and Nicole Liotta for the fall 2014 season.

She was named All-Conference as a sophomore in 2011 and was also named Conference Player of the Year as a junior.

"Nicole is a first rate defender who can play anywhere across the backline. A star at Mineola High School in Long Island she has also earned a reputation in the ECNL as a defender who not only defends well but also builds her offense from the back." - Head Coach Mick D'Arcy

KACIE O'NIELL - Stratford, CT - Forward

O'Neill hails from Stratford, CT. The forward attended Bunnell High School where she was named to the All-Conference First Team as a junior and as a senior. A Senior Bowl participant, O'Neill is also a three-time All-Academic First Team honoree.
