NEC TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS

Mount St. Mary's ends the season with a 2-16-1 overall record and a 1-6-1 mark in league action.

Central will be the third seed in next week's NEC Tournament, and will play second seed Wagner in the quarterfinal round on Friday.  The tournament will be held at top seed Fairleigh Dickinson.  Times are to be announced.  St. Francis U is the fourth seed.

The Blue Devils took the 1-0 lead on the fifth goal of the season for sophomore Kelly Halligan.  Halligan took a corner kick from senior Tori Sousa, off a deflection from junior Claire Walsh, and fired it by the Mount keeper into the top right corner for the 1-0 lead. The Mount tied the game with 23:37 left in the second half when Sam Manson scored on a free kick.  Following a foul by the Blue Devils, Manson fired the ball to the top left corner of the goal, beating CCSU sophomore goalkeeper Nicki Turley, knotting the score 1-1.
