Central Connecticut State University competed in day two action at the Terrier Invitational on Saturday. Five Blue Devils put forth individual performances, while two relays competed at Boston University. Senior Kandra Kane was the top finisher for CCSU, placing 10th in the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:54.87.
Freshman Taylor Friedmann also competed in the 200 free, touching in at 1:55.81 for a 12th place finish. Sophomore Alex Czaplicki and freshman Katie Lang swam the 400 IM for Central. Czaplicki took 11th in a time of 4:34.83, while Lang finished in 4:37.45 for 20th place in the event. Sophomore Kristen Malski was the final individual competitor for CCSU on the day. She recorded a time of 1:07.76 to place 17th in the 100 breast stroke.
The relay team of Czaplicki, Friedmann, Lang and kane placed eighth in the 800 free relay, touching in at 7:49.07. Czaplicki, Lang and Friedmann were joined by Malski in the 200 medley relay and placed 11th in a time of 1:51.27.
CCSU will finish in the final day of competition on Sunday with prelims at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m.
