The Central Connecticut swimming & diving finished day one at the Terrier Invite in 10th place. Boston University is hosting the event which features Columbia, Yale, Northeastern, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Drexel, Stony Brook, and Central Connecticut. Central totaled 27 points in the team competition.
Junior Taylor Friedmann posted a sixth place finish (5:02.58) in the 500 yard freestyle event, her only contest of the day. A pair of 13th place finishes came from senior Alex Czaplicki in the 200 yard IM (2:08.23) and sophomore Helene Neuhaus in the 50 yard freestyle (24.72).
The Blue Devils look to rebound in the second day of competition which will take place on Saturday, November 19th.
