Junior Aidan Devers has been named the Northeast Conference Co-Swimmer of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday. It marks the third time in four weeks that the Blue Devils have come away with the weekly award.
Devers posted NEC-best times in three different events this past weekend. Swimming at the competitive Frank Elm Invitational, the junior placed eighth in the 500 freestyle coming in at 5:01.63.
She also posted a 4:59.82 in the 500 prelims, which is almost two seconds faster than any other NEC swimmer this year. The North Attleboro, MA product also placed in the top-10 in both the 200 backstroke (2:00.17) and 400 IM (4:27.37) to nab the top spot on the conference top-times list in both events.
Devers also touched in 57.01 in the 100 backstroke, which ranks second in the conference.
