Women's Track Competes In Day Two of Yale Invite
The Central Connecticut State University women's track and field team finished competition at the Yale Giegengack Invitational this afternoon. Freshman Dara Edge led the Blue Devils with a ninth place finish in the 60 meter hurdles, recording a time of 9.53 seconds. Edge also placed 10th in the triple jump with a distance of 34 feet, 1 inch.
Freshman Rachel Dombroski recorded a top 20 finish in the 400 meter dash, placing 19th with a time of 1:01.90. Kate McGuire took 10th in the 500 meters, recording a time of 1:19.24. Amanda Prescott joined Edge in the triple jump, placing 11th with a distance of 33 feet, six inches.
