The Central Connecticut women's track team finished 15th at the Albany Great Dane Classic. The Blue Devils were led by a record setting performance in the 60 meter hurdles from sophomore Dara Edge.
Edge competed in the 60 meter hurdles and the triple jump. Edge posted a 9.38 second time in the hurdles besting her school best time in the event as she finished 14th. In the triple jump she finished 18th with a best jump of 10.51 meters.
Senior Katherine Bossardet and freshman Elizabeth Eberhardt finished sixth and seventh in 3000 meter run. Bossardet posted a time of 10:30.89 and Eberhardt finished in 10:32.03. The pair combined for all of the Blue Devils team points at the meet.
The Blue Devils return to action next weekend at the Boston Indoor Games.
