The Central Connecticut women's track team continued its early season tune up on Saturday at the UConn Invite. The Blue Devils were led by Nablissa Lomotey who finished seventh in the javelin throw.
Lomotey threw the javelin 36.43 meters to earn her seventh place finish.
Sophomore Dara Edge also earned a top ten finish she ran a 15.45 second time in the 100 meter hurdles. That time earned her a ninth place finish. Junior Amy Sanjurjo finished 10th in the 100 meter dash with a 13.02 second time.
On the distance side freshman Elizabeth Eberhardt finished 15th in the 1,500 meters. She posted a time of 4:51.30.
The Blue Devils will return to action on Friday at the Bucknell Invitational.
