The Central Connecticut State University women's cross country team was honored for their academic achievements as an NCAA All-Academic Team for the third straight year, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Junior Katherine Bossardet earned all-conference honors for the second straight season, placing 12th to lead Central Connecticut State University to a sixth place finish at the Northeast Conference Women's Cross Country Championships at Quinnipiac University. Bossardet recorded a time of 19:01.0.

Central Places Fifth of 11 at CCSU Mini Meet
The Central Connecticut State University women's cross country team competed in the final meet before the Northeast Conference Championships, placing 5th out of 11 teams at the CCSU Mini Meet on Saturday morning. Junior Katherine Bossardet led the Blue Devils with a 15th place finish, crossing the line in 10:46.86 on the three kilometer course.

The Central Connecticut State University women's cross country team finished in third place out of 10 teams in competition at the Monmouth Invitational on Saturday. The Blue Devils were led by junior Katherine Bossardet, who placed fifth with a time of 19:22.2 on the five kilometer course. Senior Alyssa Cole was the second best finisher for Central, crossing the line in 19:43.9 for seventh place.

Women's Cross Country Takes 2nd out of 5 at Ted Owen
The Central Connecticut State University women's cross country team finished second out of five teams at the Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday morning. The Blue Devils were led by junior Katherine Bossardet and senior Alyssa Cole who placed seventh and ninth, respectively. Bossardet finished the five kilometer course at Stanley Quarter Park in a time of 18:40.04, while Cole crossed the line in 18:52.10.

The Central Connecticut State University women's cross country team placed five runners in the top 50 and took fifth place out of 11 teams in competition at Saturday's Quinnipiac Invitational. Junior Katherine Bossardet led the way for the Blue Devils, placing eighth in a time of 18 minutes and 50.6 seconds on the five kilometer course.

Women's Cross Country Picked Fifth In Northeast Conference Poll
The Central Connecticut State University women's cross country team was picked to finish fifth in the Northeast Conference #$%^Coaches' Poll, released today. CCSU is led by junior Katherine Bossardet, who led the Blue Devils to a fifth place finish at last #$%^season's NEC Championship. She received All-NEC honors for her 14th place finish at the conference meet.
