Men's Basketball Non-Conference Slate Announced for 2024-25 Season
The Central Connecticut men's basketball team and head coach Patrick Sellers announced the non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday. CCSU will play 13 contests, including seven taking place in the state of Connecticut, in preparation for the Northeast Conference schedule which begins in January.
2024-25 CCSU MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
The out of conference schedule includes five home games and opponents from eight conferences, including the America East, Atlantic-10, BIG EAST, CAA, MAAC and Patriot League.
SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Central will open the season on the road at Providence on Monday, November 4, before visiting Saint Joseph's on Friday, Nov. 4. CCSU will face PC for the first time since 2021-22 and Saint Joe's for the second straight season.
- The Blue Devils' home opener will be on Monday, November 11, against Vermont State University Johnson.
- CCSU will also host non-conference home games against Binghamton (Nov. 24), UMass Lowell (Dec. 1), Quinnipiac (Dec. 21), and Johnson & Wales (Dec. 29).
- Central will travel to Northeastern (Nov. 17) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 21), as well as playing four straight road games at UMass (Dec. 4), Holy Cross (Dec. 7), Rhode Island (Dec. 15) and Fairfield (Dec. 18).
The Northeast Conference announced the 16-game league slate and CCSU will begin league play on Friday, Jan. 3, with a trip to Saint Francis U.
