The Central Connecticut men's track and field team was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for there academic performance during the 2013-14 season. Senior Craig Hunt was also honored individually for his combined academic and athletic accomplishments.
Rising sophomore Colin Sauter finished 17th in the 10,000 meter at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships on Sunday night.

Central Connecticut junior Jamal Fruster and senior Craig Hunt both competed at the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary in Jacksonville, FL on Thursday night. Fruster ran the 400 meters and Hunt the 10,000 meters, both won their respective events at the 2014 Northeast Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
CCSU’s Brian Biekert, Craig Hunt and Jamal Fruster will each be competing in one event this weekend after earning their spot in the field as one of the top-48 performers in the eastern region this season.
