Cross Country Unveils 2025 Slate
The campaign gets underway on August 30th
The Central Connecticut State men's cross-country teams announced the 2025 schedule on Friday, as the team begins its quest for a third consecutive NEC Championship. The slate is once again highlighted by two home races at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, CT.
The Blue Devils have won back-to-back NEC Championships, three of the last four, and a record dozen team crowns all-time.
2025 Cross Country Schedule Highlights
- The campaign begins on August 30th when the squad takes part in the Father Bede Invitational, hosted by Saint Francis U in Loretto, PA
- The first of two home meets comes on September 20th, with the annual Ted Owen Invitational
- The Blue Devils return to the esteemed Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh, October 3rd
- The New England Championships will be held October 10th
- The CCSU mini meet will serve as the final tune-up for the NEC Championship, and will be run at Stanley Quarter Park
- The NEC Championship will be run in Loretto, PA on November 1st, where it was last held in 2022
- The NCAA Northeast Regional Championship is set for November 14th in Hopkinton, NH and the NCAA Championship will be run November 22nd in Columbia, MO
