Rodriguez, Budge Lead Men's Cross Country at Ted Owen Invitational
The Central Connecticut men's cross country team had a pair finish in the top three at the Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday in New Britain, CT. Mark Rodriguez and Aidan Budge finished second and third, respectively, in the field which included over 100 runners to pace the Blue Devils

NOTABLE
- Rodriguez turned in a time of 25:21.2 to place second overall and pace the CCSU runners.
- Budge was just behind, finishing third in 25:27.1.
- Joseph Lauria placed 33rd overall with a time of 26:42.90.
- Michael Kraszewski (26:45.10) and Steven Ives (27:00.40) followed just behind earning top-40 places.
- Ryan Scappaticci and Nick Fusco finished back-to-back with times of 27:16.30 and 27:17.10, respectively.
RACE NOTES
- Collin Gilstrap of Stony Brook won the men's race with a time of 25:19.3.
- CCSU compiled a team score of 79. Stony Brook posted a team score of 31, while Rhode Island was second with 63.
