2023 Outdoor: Co-Most Outstanding Track Performer (Distance)... First Team All Northeast Conference... NEC Track Athlete of the Week 3/29 and 5/3... Competed in the 800m, 1,500m, and 4x400m relay at the Raleigh Relays meet... Won the 800m race at the AIC Yellowjacket Invitational with a time of 2:13.08... Came in first in the 1,500m (4:28.40) and second in the 800m (2:13.28) at the UMass Flagship Opener... Ran the 1,500m race in 4:25.05 at the Penn Relays meet... Took gold in both the 800m (2:13.14) and 1,500m (4:33.77) races at the 2023 NEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships... Finished out the season at the 2023 Yale Last Chance Meet where she ran a personal best time of 4:22.73 in the 1,500m race, breaking the CCSU program record.

2022-23 Indoor: NEC Winter Commissioner's Honor Roll... NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll... First Team All-Northeast Conference... Northeast Conference Athlete of the Week (2/14)… Ran a personal best time in the 800m race at the 2023 Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invite, crossing the finish line in 2:10.47... Competed in CCSU’s 4x400m relay at the 115th Millrose Games, which finished third with a time of 3:59.38... Won the 800m race with a time of 2:19.57 at the 2023 NEC Indoor Track and Field Championships. She was also a part of CCSU’s winning distance medley relay (12:14.54) and placed third in the mile with a time of 5:05.60 to help her team to their second straight Northeast Conference title...Competed at the Last Chance Indoor National Qualifier at BU, running a personal best time in the mile, crossing the finish line in 4:48.31 to finish fifth...Placed second in the 1000m race at the 2023 Indoor IC4A/ECAC Championship, finishing in 2:46.58 to break her won school record and notch a new personal best.   

2022 Cross Country: All-Northeast Conference. 4x Athlete of the Week. Won the Father Bede Invitational (3.11m) with a time of 18:44.0, and the Ted Owen Invitational (5k) with a time of 18:00.8. Placed 4th at the New England Championships, finishing the 5k course with a time of 18:09.6. Came in 2nd place at the CCSU Mini Meet (3k) with a time of 9:54.0. Ran a collegiate best 5k at the NEC Championship (17:51.6), taking second place and helping the team to win their 5th consecutive NEC Championship. Competed at NCAA Division 1 Regionals and was the first Blue Devil to cross the finish line of the 6k race (67th place - 21:52.3).

The Central Connecticut men's and women's track and field teams were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their academic performance during the 2022-23 school year with the All-Academic Team Award it was announced on Thursday.

Ashley Dana is the 2023 NEC Team Student-Athlete of the Year, the fourth Blue Devil, and second in as many years, to earn the conferences top honor.
