Central Connecticut Athletics has unveiled the formation of the Blue Devil Athletic Club as a way for alumni, fans and supporters to show support for Blue Devils teams and student-athletes.
The Blue Devil Athletic Club is made up of different levels of membership based on the annual giving of individuals. A number of unique membership benefits are associated with each level of giving. To encourage giving among young alumni of Central Connecticut, the Club includes an All-Rookie Team level for graduates of CCSU within the past five years. Membership levels range from Teammate ($100 annual giving) to the Hall of Fame level.
Benefits include Alumni Hospitality Tent access at all football home games, exclusive apparel items, access to VIP Lounge events at basketball home games and exclusive meet and greets with CCSU coaches. There will also be opportunities for courtside seating, pairing with student-athletes and having personalized, reserved parking at CCSU home events. A complete list of benefits and giving levels is available in the Blue Devil Athletic Club brochure.
The mission of the Blue Devil Athletic Club is to provide the resources necessary for CCSU to compete at the highest level in the classroom, in the community, and on the playing fields. Giving to the Club will make it possible for CCSU Athletics to provide a first-class experience to all 400 Blue Devil student-athletes. Contributions to the Blue Devil Athletic Club can be made online, via check, credit card, or through matching gifts with participating companies.
A group of distinguished donors are among the charter members of the Blue Devil Athletic Club. Included are Dr. Richard Judd (CCSU President Emeritus), Mrs. Barbara Miller in memory of Dr. John Miller (CCSU President Emeritus), and CJ Jones (CCSU Athletic Director Emeritus).
