Before CCSU:  Played the last three seasons at Southwest High School under coach Ryan Purtell.  Played his freshman season at Lutheran High School under coach Bruce Biedinger.  Named First-Team All-District as a senior.  Fourt-time selection to the All-Academic Team.  Two-time team captain.  Team made the regional finals in 2008-09, in his junior season.   Honor Roll student from 2008-10.
