Hunt Named Road Runner Sports/Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week

Craig Hunt received his second Road Runner Sports/Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honor for his performance at the CCSU Mini Meet this weekend. The freshman led CCSU for the first time in his career, as he placed fourth out of 104 runners at the five kilometer race on Saturday.

Craig Hunt received his second Road Runner Sports/Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honor for his performance at the CCSU Mini Meet this weekend. The freshman led CCSU for the first time in his career, as he placed fourth out of 104 runners at the five kilometer race on Saturday.

Hunt was the top finisher for the Blue Devils for the first time this season, finishing the course in 15:19.08. He led Central to a second place finish out 11 teams in competition at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, CT. The Blue Devils will next be competing in the NEC Championships at Quinnipiac on Saturday October 31.
