The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team will visit the Wagner Seahawks on Friday afternoon.
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team will travel to Wagner College for a Northeast Conference contest on Friday afternoon. The Blue Devils (7-5, 5-0 NEC) will put their perfect record in NEC play on the line against the Seahawks (5-9, 1-5 NEC).
CCSU can set a new program record for wins in a season with a victory this afternoon. A victory would also set a new program record for conference wins in a season. The Blue Devils have set or matched the program's record for wins in each of the last four seasons and the 2013 squad is also riding a program record six-game winning streak.
Fans that can not attend the game can follow the action live on NECFrontRow.com
Here are some notes on the Blue Devils heading into Friday's game:
- A victory would give CCSU a school record eight wins and a record six conference victories
- Senior Ali Roche is one caused turnover shy of tying the program's single-season record, which she set last season
