Softball to Play Friday in NCAA Regionals
The Blue Devils have been video-logging their journey to NCAA Regionals, and now it's here! The action starts Friday and fans can watch live.
The Central Connecticut softball team will play Louisiana State University on Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m./6 p.m. Central time in Baton Rouge, LA in its first ever NCAA Regional appearance. As the Blue Devils gear up for Friday's game, fans can follow their journey and watch all of the games live online.

The NCAA Regionals will be held at LSU from Friday, May 17, through Sunday, May 19. The Blue Devils and the Tigers are two of the four teams that will be competing in the double-elimination tournament. The other two teams, that will also face one another on Friday, are Northwestern State and Louisiana-Lafayette. The tournament schedule is as follows:
Fri. May 17 - 4 p.m. (3 p.m. CDT) - Game 1: Northwestern St. vs. UL-Lafayette
Fri. May 17 - 7 p.m. (6 p.m. CDT) - Game 2: Central Connecticut St. vs. LSU
Sat. May 18 - 1 p.m. (12 p.m. CDT) - Game 3: Winner game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Sat. May 18 - 4 p.m. (3 p.m. CDT) - Game 4: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2*
Sat. May 18 - 7 p.m. (6 p.m. CDT) - Game 5: Loser Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4*
Sun. May 19 - 2 p.m. (1 p.m. CDT) - Game 6: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4
Sun. May 19 - 5 p.m. (4 p.m. CDT) - Game 7 (If nec.): Winner game 6 vs. Loser Game 6
*Games 4 and 5 are elimination games.
