Sarochova Collects Second Straight NEC Golfer of the Week Honor
Central Connecticut junior Lucie Sarochova claimed her second consecutive spot on the Northeast Conference weekly honor roll. Sarochova earned her second golfer of the week accolade this fall after tying for third at the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Sept. 20-21. She shot rounds of 76-83 (159), and held the day-one lead after posting what proved to be the third-lowest score at the Orchards Golf Club in Hadley, MA.

Sarochova earned her second golfer of the week accolade this fall after tying for third at the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Sept. 20-21. She shot rounds of 76-83 (159), and held the day-one lead after posting what proved to be the third-lowest score at the Orchards Golf Club in Hadley, MA.
Sarochova, who now has six career NEC Golfer of the Week honors, finished the invitational in the top-10 in par three (+2) and par four (+10) scoring, birdies (four) and pars (18). The Czech Republic product now has top-10 finishes in each of CCSU's first two events.
She and the Blue Devils will be off until Oct. 10, when they begin the two-day Rutgers Invitational at the Rutgers Golf Course.
