Madison Vestergaard Takes Second in the Three Meter Dive
The Central Connecticut diving team hosted the CCSU Diving Invite at Jack Suydam Natatorium on Saturday morning. Junior Madison Vestergaard finished second in the three meter dive, and fifth in the one meter.
The Central Connecticut diving team hosted the CCSU Diving Invite at Jack Suydam Natatorium on Saturday morning. Junior Madison Vestergaard finished second in the three meter dive, and fifth in the one meter.
Vestergaard finished with a score of 162.00 to place fifth in the one meter. Freshman Kellyn Goldberger placed ninth with a score of 113.40. The one meter dive was won by Allie Black of Providence College who posted a score of 216.30.
In the three meter dive Vestergaard posted a score of 177.00 to place second, while Goldberger finished sixth with a score of 121.95. Serra Czapla of Stony Brook won the event with a score of 212.85.
The Blue Devil divers return to action at St. Francis (PA) next Saturday.
