Morabito Runs at NCAA Women's Cross Country Championships
Central Connecticut women's cross country standout Brooke Morabito capped an illustrious career by running at the NCAA Championships on Sunday at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in Verona, WI.
Morabito ran among the field of 255 runners and finished the course in a time of 20:23.4.

NOTABLE
- Morabito, the first Blue Devil in women's cross country history to earn an at-large berth to the championship, placed 70th and her time is the second-fastest ever by a Northeast Conference runner at the championships
- Morabito is just the second CCSU runner and third NEC runner at the championships. Ashley Dana earned an automatic berth at the 2020-21 championships.
- The senior earned All-Northeast Region honors from the USTFCCCA earlier this week.
