Bio

Before Central: A native of Penfield, New York, Baumer comes to Central after an impressive four-year career at Penfield High School. Academically, she earned a spot on the High Honor Roll from 2012-2016 and she was a New York State Scholar Athlete from 2014-2016. A standout on the lacrosse field and the basketball court, Baumer was the Captain of the basketball team in both her Junior and Senior seasons as well as a Captain for lacrosse in her Senior season. She earned First Team All-County Honors as well as the Herb Fitch Section V Senior All-Star Lacrosse awards in 2016. She was a Second Team All-County basketball honoree as well as the team's Most Improved Player in the 2016 season. Finally, she earned the Exceptional Senior Award in Monroe County and was a recipient of the New York State Section V Basketball Sportsmanship Award in 2015 and 2016.
